Five Hyflo SCFB's installed in Melbourne

The world's leading passive flood barrier has arrived in Melbourne. Using only the energy of harnessed floodwater, the HYFLO barrier closes without any human intervention. The barrier also opens by itself when floodwaters recede without the need to clear flood debris from the barriers internal mechanisms. The photo below shows a 1 metre high SCFB in South Melbourne during commissioning.
